There is no account, advertising tracker, or personal profile. The words you type into Focus stay in your browser.
What stays on your device
Your optional Focus note and the number of resets you have completed are never sent to Before Next. The counter is stored locally in your browser and can be cleared with your browser’s site-data controls.
What the service measures
To understand whether the product is useful, Before Next records anonymous aggregate counts when a reset starts, finishes, or the app is installed. These signals contain no text, account identifier, or cookie. Standard hosting logs may include ordinary network information such as an IP address, user agent, requested path, and timestamp for security and reliability.
Why it is measured
Aggregate usage helps decide what to improve, what to remove, and whether the product is worth continuing. It is not used to build an advertising profile or follow you around the web.
Third parties
Before Next is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes requests to deliver and protect the service. No third-party ad network or social-media pixel is included.
